The Disco Biscuits have announced a Tractorbeam performance in New Orleans set to take place during the city’s annual Jazz Fest.
The late-night Tractorbeam show will take place at Tipitina’s on Friday, April 24th, during Jazz Fest’s first weekend. The announcement comes just days after The Disco Biscuits were forced to postpone the four remaining shows on their winter tour for bassist Marc Brownstein to undergo emergency eye surgery. Ironically, the postponement announcement came not even three hours after the band released a 19-date spring tour.

The Disco Biscuits performed as their Tractorbeam alias for a New Year’s afterparty in New York City last month. Prior to that, The Biscuits delivered a few select Tractorbeam performances during their 2019 fall tour.
Members of The Disco Biscuits were aboard Jam Cruise 18 last week, where Brownstein and pianist Aron Magner teamed up with Tom Hamilton (JRAD) and Mike Greenfield (Lotus) for their cruise-closing Electron performance on the final day of the voyage.
A venue pre-sale for Tractorbeam’s April 24th show at Tipitina’s is available now ahead of the show’s general on-sale this Friday, January 17th. Click here for tickets to the Jazz Fest afterparty.
