Umphrey’s McGee and their fans continued the ongoing run of shows in Denver, CO last night leading up to New Year’s Eve and the arrival of 2020. The band was back at The Fillmore Auditorium on Monday following a day off on Sunday and their special “Choose Your Own Adventure” set as part of the performance on Saturday.

Though Monday’s show did not include a “Choose Your Own Adventure” theme, the band did treat fans to a very notable bust out of “Scenes from an Italian Restaurant” following a decade-long, 1,000 show absence.

Following an opening set from the Kyle Hollingsworth Band, Umphrey’s opened their show with a single-song, opening set performance of “Ringo” which featured sit-ins from Kyle Hollingsworth on additional keyboards, and Jeff Coffin on the saxophone. The band returned to start the second half of the show with “1348” which flowed right into “Hajimemashite”. The set continued with “Miami Virtue” followed by the first performance of “Scenes from an Italian Restaurant” since 2/5/2010. The bust out performance also featured another sit-in as Nick Gerlach joined the band on saxophone.

The second set came to a close with “Remind Me”, “The Linear”, and “Bridgeless”. The band returned to the stage for a two-part encore of “Booth Love” (again with Gerlach) followed by the return to “1348” to end the night.
