[UPDATE 4/28/23]: The lineup for this weekend’s two-night Willie Nelson 90th birthday party continues to grow. The latest edition of the roster for the two-night blowout at Los Angeles, CA’s Hollywood Bowl this Saturday and Sunday, April 29th and 30th, will now feature Booker T. Jones, Buddy Cannon, Daniel Lanois, Dave Matthews, Dwight Yoakam, Emmylou Harris, Gary Clark Jr., George Strait, Jack Johnson, Jamey Johnson, Kris Kristofferson, Lily Meola, Rodney Crowell, Shooter Jennings, and Stephen Stills alongside previously announced artists like The Chicks, Neil Young, Snoop Dogg, Bob Weir, Billy Strings, Warren Haynes, and many more.

The concerts will also feature appearances by a number of A-list actors and entertainers including Chelsea Handler, Ethan Hawke, Gabriel Iglesias, Helen Mirren, Jennifer Garner, Owen Wilson, and Woody Harrelson. Of note, the latest edition of the lineup does not list Kacey Musgraves, who was included in the initial announcement.

[1/24/23]: Willie Nelson will celebrate his 90th birthday with two star-studded nights at Hollywood Bowl on April 29th and 30th. Long Story Short: Willie Nelson 90, A Star-Studded Concert Celebrating Willie’s 90th Birthday will feature appearances by The Chicks, Neil Young, Snoop Dogg, Bob Weir, Billy Strings, and more.
The two-day celebration will also include performances by Willie himself as well as Allison Russell, Beck, Charley Crockett, Chris Stapleton, Edie Brickell, Leon Bridges, Lukas Nelson, Lyle Lovett, Margo Price, Miranda Lambert, Nathaniel Rateliff, Norah Jones, Orville Peck, Particle Kid, Rosanne Cash, Sheryl Crow, Sturgill Simpson, The Avett Brothers, The Lumineers, Tom Jones, Tyler Childers, Warren Haynes, and Ziggy Marley. Additional artists will be announced in the coming weeks.
Two-day packages for Nelson’s 90th birthday party will go on sale to the general public on Saturday, January 28th at 1:00 p.m. ET. Even at 90 years old, Willie remains as active as ever. After a busy 2022, during which he toured with his traveling Outlaw Music Festival, hosted Farm Aid, and released a new album, Nelson recently announced a new album paying tribute to country songwriting legend Harlan Howard. He will also be the subject of a tribute album himself, with Nathaniel Rateliff, Margo Price, Sheryl Crow, and more slated to appear on the collection, and he will headline Summer Camp Music Festival over Memorial Day weekend.
