Dopapod has announced a 2021 fall tour that will take the genre-bending act across the country. The tour will kick off with a previously announced two-night run at Brooklyn Bowl on September 10th and 11th and run through mid-December.
After a month gap following the Brooklyn Bowl shows—set to be some of the very first shows following the venue’s September 8th reopening—Dopapod will pick back up in Saratoga Springs, NY (10/20) to start a Northeast run will take the band through Ithaca, NY (10/21); Hartford, CT (10/22); Boston, MA (10/23); Portland, ME (10/24); and Buffalo, NY (10/27). The band will then launch a Midwestern trek with a three-night run in Columbus, OH (10/28–30) which marks the only three-show stand of the tour.
Dopapod will celebrate Halloween in Grand Rapids, MI before rolling through Morgantown, WV (11/2); Indianapolis, IN (11/3); and Chicago, IL (11/4). From there, the band will head west to Denver for a show with Twiddle at Mission Ballroom (11/6). Dopapod will then gradually return eastward with stops in Omaha, NE (11/9); Columbia, MO (11/10); and Louisville, KY (11/11) before a brief Southern jaunt in Tuscaloosa, AL (11/12); Atlanta, GA (11/13); and Savannah, GA (11/14).
After a two-week break, Dopapod will head back up north for shows in Iowa City, IA (12/1); St. Paul, MN (12/2); Milwaukee, WI (12/3); Madison, WI (12/4); St. Louis, MO (12/5); Ferndale, MI (12/7); Penn State, PA (12/8); a two-nighter at Ardmore Music Hall (12/9, 12/10); Washington, D.C. (12/11); Richmond, VA (12/12); Charlotte, NC (12/15); Charleston, SC (12/16); and Asheville, NC (12/17) before finally wrapping in Nashville, TN (12/18).
This will mark Dopapod’s first full-fledged tour since the pandemic began last March. As concerts have gradually returned, the band has performed a limited schedule of pod concerts and sets at recent festivals like The Peach Music Festival and The Werk Out Music & Arts Festival.
