[UPDATE 5/17/24]: Biscoland has announced the second and final wave of artists set to perform at its second-annual installment over 4th of July weekend 2024 at Wonderland Forest in LaFayette, NY.

New additions to the lineup for the three-day event, hosted by The Disco Biscuits, include a headlining set from Chicago-house mainstay Mark Farina along with sets by electro-jam funk band Dizgo, the Biscuits’ longtime producer and collaborator Cloudchord, New England-native hip-hop artist (and husband of Alanis Morissette) Souleye, and NYC-based tech-funk drummer/DJ duo Horizon Wireless, and live bass music act Cofresi.

Along with the added artists, Biscoland detailed a number of special sunset and late-night sets due to take place during the weekend. Nora En Pure, Squeaky Feet, and Late Night Radio will handle Biscoland 2024 sunset duties while DJ MinxBreak Science, and Cofresi will hold down the late-night slots.

The newly added artists join an already extensive lineup featuring four sets by The Disco Biscuits, a rare performance by the band’s rare tracksuited alter-ego, Tractorbeam, and sets by LettuceBen Silver (Orchard Lounge), JimkataKitchen Dwellerslespecial, and more. [4/16/24]: The Disco Biscuits have announced the second-annual installment of the group’s Biscoland festival, returning to Wonderland Forest in LaFayette, NY over 4th of July weekend 2024. Hosts The Disco Biscuits will perform four sets in addition to a set by their instrumental alter-ego Tractorbeam, future funk sextet Lettuce, Swedish melodic house DJ Nora En Pure, and more.

For its second edition, Biscoland will expand from two to three days, allowing for an expanded lineup. Also joining the Biscuits from July 4th–6th are prominent acts Break ScienceKitchen DwellersLate Night Radio, lespecialManic Focus, an  Saxsquatch. The remainder of the initial lineup also includes Ben Silver (Orchard Lounge), DJ MinxJimkataOut of the BeardspaceRAQSpace BaconSqueaky Feet, and The Breakfast featuring members of Lotus and Twiddle, with more artists to be announced. These artists will perform across two stages throughout the weekend.

“Last year’s inaugural BISCOLAND was so incredibly special to us and our community,” Biscuits bassist Marc Brownstein said, “and we’re so excited to return to Wonderland Forest this year to do it all again, bigger and better!”

Biscoland will mark Tractorbeam’s second show of 2024 and only its third in five years. The tracksuit-fitted version of the band was reactivated back in February for a sold-out Super Bowl blowout at Boulder’s Fox Theatre. In recent years, The Disco Biscuits have used the Tractorbeam monicker to play live versions of house and disco songs, utilizing Ableton Live to sync their instruments.

This announcement follows the recent completion of The Disco Biscuits 34-date Why We Dance tour, the band’s largest outing in years. While on the road, the band released their “space opera,” Revolution in Motion, their first studio album since 2011. The band shows no signs of slowing down through the summer, with festival appearances at Solshine: A Music & Arts ReverieElectric ForestSecret Dreams, and more.
