Indianapolis, IN’s All IN Music Festival is the latest in a string of music festivals to announce that they are skipping 2024 and looking ahead to future editions. In a message posted to the festival’s social media accounts on Friday, organizers noted, “We are disappointed to share that we will not be holding the 2024 edition of the ALL IN Music & Arts Festival. We hosted two amazing and successful editions of ALL IN – 2022 and 2023. We’re taking a year off and will return BIGGER AND BETTER for ALL IN 2025.”

As the note from All IN organizers continued, “We know that we’ve created something special, and we appreciate all of you that have attended and supported us. ALL IN is ALL about the music and the experience at the most convenient and comfortable festival in America, and truly one of the best. … SEE YOU ALL IN 2025.”

All IN Music Festival Music Midtown is the latest in a growing list of long-running festivals large and small skipping 2024, a trend that underscores the difficult nature of the modern festival market.. Others in similar hiatus situations this year include Music Midtown, Firefly Music Festival, Sonic Bloom, Riverbend, Okeechobee, Made In America, and more, while events like Ventura, CA’s Skull & Roses, Mammoth, CA’s Horseshoe Music Festival, and Ozark, AR’s Backwoods at Mulberry Mountain attempted to mount 2024 events but eventually pulled the plug. SweetWater 420 Fest also downsized its planned 2024 event at the last minute, shifting to a free ticket model and cutting roughly half of its artists, while Summer Camp rebranded the 2024 edition of its annual Memorial Day Weekend festival as Solshine Reverie.

The sophomore edition of All IN Music Festival brought Trey Anastasio & Classic TAB, Tenacious D, Umphrey’s McGee featuring Jason Bonham, Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, Greensky Bluegrass, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, Cory Wong, and many more to the Indiana State Fairgrounds in September 2023.
