On Monday, Lukas Nelson led a band comprised of Dan “Lebo” Lebowitz, Steve Adams, Ezra Lipp and more through a night of music at Mill Valley, CA’s Sweetwater Music Hall. The performance served as a benefit to raise proceeds for Music Heals International, a local nonprofit which brings music and musicians to the children of Haiti and other parts of the world.
One of the highlights from Monday’s show came when local music hero Bob Weir joined Nelson to help him perform a mix of songs including Bob Dylan’s “Desolation Row” and “It’s All Over Now, Baby Blue” as well as full-band take on George Harrison’s “My Sweet Lord”.

Next up for Weir on his never-ending concert schedule will be a four-night New Year’s run of shows in Los Angeles and San Francisco late next month. Head to the Dead & Company website for tickets and tour info.
Found a few friends at @SweetwaterMV last night! Always a great time playing at the @MusicHealsInt benefit show.
