Anderson .Paak joins the Sesame Street crew for a celebratory song, “H is for Holiday”, in a new clip that will appear in the Thursday, January 13th, episode of PBS‘ long-running children’s show.

Joined by Sesame Street mainstays Elmo and Cookie Monster, .Paak sings at length about enjoying all the little things that make each and every holiday special. He cherishes “cooking together with family and friends,” while Cookie Monster, of course, enjoys the finer things in life, like “eating cookies”. Throughout the song, .Paak makes mention of nearly every holiday on the calendar, singing, “Holidays remind us of an event that we remember/Like Memorial Day or Juneteenth/Not to mention Veteran’s Day/And Purim, and Fourth of July, and sometimes things that happen every year/like Kwanza, Groundhog Day, Lunar New Year, and Chinese New Year,” while sitting behind his drum kit.

In other news, Anderson .Paak is coming off a wildly successful year after releasing the debut Silk Sonic album, An Evening With Silk Sonic, alongside fellow collaborator Bruno Mars. The duo received several Grammy nominations for the single “Leave the Door Open“, including “Record and Song of the Year” and “Best R&B Performance and Song”.

As far as .Paak’s tour schedule is concerned, the all-purpose musician only has four dates on his 2022 calendar, all set to take place in Europe this summer. That hasn’t stopped the prolific artist from perming, however. This past Saturday night, he sat in on drums with a heavy-hitting DJ Logic & Friends lineup at New York’s famous Blue Note jazz club.
