Brothers Scott and Seth Avett kicked-off the aquatic-themed show by performing “C-Sections & Railway Trestles”, which appeared on their latest album, 2019’s Closer Than Together. While the band performed remotely due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, they did superimpose the traditional Fishcenter Live aquarium over the background of their video. With Scott on ukulele and Seth controlling his acoustic guitar and vocals, the duo ran-through “C-Sections & Railway Trestles” at a brisk 3:45 pace.

Joined by bassist Bob Crawford, The Avett Brothers then sat down for an interview on the call-in game show where they discussed their upcoming drive-in concert at Charlotte Motor Speedway on August 29th, their favorite venues, their love for Atlanta, and more. Finally, the now trio then closed out the musical portion with a take on their original “Denouncing November Blue (Uneasy Writer)”, off 2006’s Four Thieves Gone: The Robbinsville Sessions.
