Billy Strings Takes The Stage In New Lyric Video For "Taking Water" [Watch]

Billy Strings sent fans into the weekend with a new lyric video for his recently-shared single, “Taking Water”. The track was initially released last month and acts as the lead single to appear on his forthcoming studio album, HOME.

The black-and-white video showcases Strings’ performances with a mix of live footage from recent performances while the lively folk-rock track plays throughout. The lyric video also features a brief mix of B-roll footage of Strings and his band on the road where the musician seems to spend most of the time these days as one of the hottest in-demand bluegrass and Americana guitarists within the scene at the moment.

Strings has also since released another single set to appear on HOME with “Away From The Mire”. Both new tunes will likely find their way into Strings’ nightly setlists when the guitarist heads out on his scheduled fall run beginning with a pair of shows at Atlanta’s Terminal West on September 5th & 6th. Strings will remain on the road well into the fall before wrapping on November 23rd following a show at Covington, KY’s Madison Theater.
