The Eagles and The Doobie Brothers are the latest artists to launch their own beachfront destination concert event, as the two classic rock bands will welcome their fans to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico for a weekend of music next spring.

The Memorial Day Weekend event will take place on May 23rd-25th, 2020, and promises “a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience two nights of unforgettable beachfront performances in the beautiful Cabo Corridor, to an intimate crowd of only 5,000,” according to the announcement shared to the bands’ social media pages.

The Doobie Brothers will perform a full show on Saturday, May 23rd, with a lineup of Tom Johnston, Michael McDonald, Pat Simmons, and John McFee. “An Evening with the Eagles” comprised of Don Henley, Joe Walsh, and Timothy B. Schmit, with Deacon Frey and Vince Gill will take place the following evening on May 24th.

The Eagles and Doobie Brothers now join their rock colleagues including Dead & Company, Phish, WilcoLittle Feat, and more who are all cashing in on their snow-bird fans with destination events outside of the U.S. It’s worth pointing out that this one takes place furthest into the new year during the spring, while most destination events are held in the wintertime.
