Eric Krasno is back with the debut release from his E3 project, Live At Garcia’s. The live album features Krasno alongside Eric Kalb (drums) and Eric Finland (organ).

The seven-song album features a mix of Krasno originals and choice covers, recorded live at Garcia’s inside The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY. E3 marks the latest venture for the multi-faceted solo artist who, last year, introduced KRAZ as an offshoot of his solo work.

Live At Garcia’s finds the group at the familiar stomping grounds of Garcia’s in Port Chester, not far from Krasno’s former home in Brooklyn. This 2019 concert kicks off with a cover of the Rusty Bryant classic, “Fire Eater”. The song gives off a taste of the jazz-psych mix that E3 has made its own, before launching into Krasno’s own “76”. As the rest of the live document weaves through jazz and R&B standards, such as James Brown‘s “All About My Girl”, things come to a climax when Mary Corso (vocals) and Danny Mayer (guitar) step onto the stage. The former Eric Krasno Band members join E3 for a run through the EKB relic “Love Is Strong”. Corso’s powerful lead vocals put a proper exclamation mark at the end of Live At Garcia’s.
