Lettuce has teamed up with nugs to offer a subscriber-exclusive livestream of the band’s RAGE!FEST event at New Orleans, LA’s The Joy Theater tonight, Friday, May 3rd, 2024. Fans can tune in here beginning at 10:00 p.m. ET / 9:00 p.m. CT to watch the performance from home.
The Grammy-nominated funk-plus outfit—comprised of Adam Deitch (drums, percussion, arrangement), Adam “Shmeeans” Smirnoff (guitar), Erick “Jesus” Coomes (bass), Ryan Zoidis (saxophones), Eric “Benny” Bloom (trumpet), and Nigel Hall (keyboards, vocals)—has been a fixture at The Joy Theater during the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival for several years. Lettuce made annual trips to The Joy between 2016 and 2022, pandemic years excluded, for a series of special performances billed as RAGE!FEST. In 2023, the band relocated its annual NOLA soiree to the Saenger Theatre for an orchestral hybrid show alongside the Louisiana Philharmonic. This year, Lettuce is bringing the RAGE!FEST tradition back to The Joy Theater for one unforgettable night.
