Trey Anastasio has announced a pair of full-capacity shows at New York’s Beacon Theatre on Tuesday, June 22nd and Wednesday, June 23rd.

The two solo shows will mark an emotional homecoming for both Anastasio and the Beacon. On the venue side, the run will mark the theater’s first shows with a full audience in more than 15 months. For Trey, the shows will mark his reunion with the Beacon audience after he spent eight Friday nights performing to an empty house last year with The Beacon Jams. No more playing to the back wall, Red. It’s time to turn around.

The Beacon Theatre will require all attendees over the age of 16 to provide proof of vaccination upon entry. Attendees under the age of 16 may enter with proof of a recent negative COVID-19 test. The Beacon welcomes the New York State Excelsior Pass, which provides secure, digital proof of COVID-19 vaccination or negative test results. Tickets for the two full-capacity Trey Anastasio Beacon Theatre shows will go on sale tomorrow, Thursday, May 27th, at 12:00 p.m. ET. There will be no pre-sale. For ticketing information, head here.

The announcement of the Trey Anastasio solo shows at the Beacon Theatre follows a three-night run of solo shows at Saratoga Performing Arts Center in Saratoga Springs, NY the previous weekend. Trey’s solo shows are often notable for their storytelling aspect, and after a year and a half without an audience—a year that featured both the highest of highs and the lowest of lows—these concerts are sure to be emotional events.

Following the solo runs at SPAC and the Beacon and Oysterhead‘s headlining set at The Peach Music Festival over July 4th weekend, Trey will join back up with Phish for a lengthy run of summer and fall tour dates. For a full list of upcoming Phish dates, click here.
