Bob Weir has revealed his latest signature guitar in partnership with his longtime go-to brand, D’Angelico.

Announced by the New York-based instrument manufacturer and the Grateful Dead/Dead & Company guitarist on Wednesday, the “Premier Bob Weir Bedford” model will now give Weir another axe to choose from when Dead & Co hit the beach in Mexico this weekend for the band’s Playing In The Sand destination event.

Weir’s new guitar is the first signature model in D’Angelico’s solid-body collection, and comes with two Seymour Duncan P-90 pickups with an additional SC-101 single-coil in the middle–guitar players will get that. Weir is no stranger to the D’Angelico universe, as the company has donated various customized guitars for charitable purposes surrounding Dead & Company’s concert tours.

D’Angelico also works closely with providing some of Live For Live Music’s other favorite artists with signature guitars, as earlier this year the company unveiled the Brandon “Taz” Niederauer Atlantic Model.
