Popular music podcast platform Osiris is teaming up with Relix for a free livestream from Relix Studio in New York featuring music and conversation from Eggy and special guests Veronica Stewart-Frommer (vocals) and Marlo Shankweiler (guitar) of Melt. The streaming event, available to watch for free via The Relix Channel on Twitch, is set to take place on Thursday, December 29th at 3:00 p.m [watch here].
Both Eggy and Melt have had big years of growth in 2022, selling out ever-larger headlining shows around the country and garnering new fans with buzzed-about sets at summer festivals like The Peach Music Festival and more.
Eggy recently wrapped its first-ever headlining tour featuring numerous notable sell-outs and an Elton John-themed Halloween blowout, which produced a new live album. The New Haven, CT quartet will arrive at Relix Studio fresh off a Phish late-night at The Cutting Room the previous night (12/28) and will head from there to Philadelphia, PA to ring in the new year at The Fillmore with moe. on December 31st. Fans heading to New Orleans during Jazz Fest 2023 can catch both Eggy and Melt as part of Daze Between New Orleans, a two-day music festival at the scenic Faubourg Brewery on Tuesday, May 2nd and Wednesday, May 3rd. Other artists set to perform at Daze Between New Orleans include Goose (two nights, four sets), Tank and the Bangas, Lawrence, George Porter Jr. & Runnin’ Pardners, David Shaw (The Revivalists), Neal Francis, J & The Causeways, The Quickening, and Honey Island Swamp Band.
