The latest live Grateful Dead video from the band’s recently-launched “All The Years Live” series is now available through the band’s official YouTube page. The new video highlights the Dead’s performance of “Loose Lucy” from their June 17th, 1991 concert at East Rutherford, New Jersey’s Giants Stadium. The recording of the performance was one of the many tracks included in the band’s recent box set reissue showcasing their Giants Stadium shows in 1989, 1990, and 1991.

As the band’s official archivist David Lemieux explains in the video’s description, “Gone from the repertoire for 16 years, 1974-1990, when [‘Loose Lucy’] made its return at the Capital Center on 3/14/90, it was in its slower 1973 arrangement, and was incredibly well-received, with one of the most inadvertently self-referential choruses in the Dead’s canon. Were they thanking us for a real good time? Were we thanking them? Regardless, it was a blast to sing along with Jerry when he was clearly having fun singing this classic.”

The band’s June, 17th, 1991 performance was one of only two shows in the Dead’s archive which was recorded to 48-track analog tape, making it one of the higher-quality listening experiences in their vast vault.
