Keyboardist Marco Benevento wrapped up a run of three shows with a sold-out performance at FTC StageOne in Fairfield, CT on Saturday, April 9th. Each night featured two sets from a trio consisting of bassist Karina Rykman, drummer David Butler, and Benevento, and for the final night’s encore, the band played a medley of Pink Floyd‘s “Fearless” and Elton John‘s “Bennie And The Jets”.
The three-show trio run began on Thursday, April 7th with a concert at The Sinclair in Boston, MA. The band then traveled to Burlington, VT for a performance at Higher Ground before making its way to StageOne in Fairfield, CT. The sold-out show was a climactic end to a weekend run, concluding with a spirited encore that began as Pink Floyd’s “Fearless” and transformed into Elton John’s “Bennie And The Jets” before returning to “Fearless” at the end.
