Thundercat has released a music video for his latest single, “Dragonball Durag“, off of his forthcoming album, It Is What It Is.
The video finds Thundercat in his natural element, applying Vaseline to his lips and creating a rainbow with the hose as he waters the lawn. As he rides around on a kick scooter drinking a Capri Sun, he stumbles upon the perfect thing to complete his outfit: a Dragonball durag. Even after the shocking failure of his durag to woo a woman he moonwalks past in the park, and another he dances for in the street while she calls the cops on her balcony in some modern retelling of A Streetcar Named Desire, Thundercat still doesn’t give up.

It Is What It Is will be available on April 3rd via Brainfeeder. Until then, Thundercat is hitting the road on a winter tour of the United States and Canada, beginning tomorrow (2/28) at the Vogue Theatre in Vancouver, BC.
