Billy Strings fans head into the weekend with new music as the guitarist has released his sophomore full-length studio album, HOME, out today via Rounder Records. The 14-track studio album is the first from the blossoming folk-rock musician since 2017’s Turmoil & Tinfoil.

String’s debut Rounder Records release was recorded last January at Nashville’s Blackbird Studios’ Studio D, followed by an additional week of tracking at Zac Brown’s Southern Ground Nashville. Produced by Glenn Brown, who was also assisted on Turmoil & Tinfoil, HOME features playing from banjoist Billy Failing, bassist Royal Masat, and mandolinist Jarrod Walker. Guests on the album include guitarist Molly Tuttle, fiddler John Mailander, tabla player John Churchville, and Grammy-winning dobro master Jerry Douglas.
The album features a mix of Strings’ previously-released singles including “Taking Water“, “Everything’s The Same”, and “Away From The Mire“.
