Goose took a moment to thank fans and reflect on a year of remarkable growth in a heartfelt message posted to social media. The band expressed gratitude for the support of fans and fellow artists, shouted out charitable organizations it partnered with this year, and looked ahead to 2023.
“With only two shows left in 2022 we’d like to reflect on what an unbelievable and crazy year this has been for us and our community,” the band wrote. “When we set out on this journey we never thought we would play Radio City Music Hall, Red Rocks, and 9 different arenas (which absolutely lived up to the hype) in the same year.”
Goose went on to mention other notable achievements from this year including three national television appearances, the release of the band’s third full-length album, Dripfield, and the debut of 16 original songs before expressing gratitude for the growing Goose community.
“You have kept our community growing and it is fully blossoming right now. From podcasts, to brackets, to a newspaper, and numerous community led websites; everyone is getting involved and we love it!”
The band then acknowledged some of the charities it supported with the help of its fans, from Conscious Alliance and Backline to the Goose-fan-founded Western Sun Foundation, as well as some of the artists who collaborated with the band this year, including Father John Misty, Trey Anastasio (“and his wonderful band”), BigBoi, Cory Wong, Lucius, Margo Price, Taylor and Griffin Goldsmith, Andy Frasco, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, Jason Hann, Jack Antonoff, and Phil Lesh.

Goose offered one final thanks before expressing excitement for the band’s upcoming New Year’s run in in Cincinnati, OH:”It cannot be understated how grateful we are to be on this ride. We love each and every one of you for coming with us and lifting us up. Looking forward to ringing in 2023 with you this weekend, it’s gonna be a good one! 🙏❤️”
After ringing in the new year in Cincinatti, Goose has plans to continue touring with stops at Dead & Company‘s Playing in the Sand destination event in Mexico in January, a five-night run at The Capitol Theatre in March, and shows in cities including Boston, Nashville, Chicago, San Francisco, and New Orleans throughout the spring.
