The latest installment of the Grateful Dead‘s “All The Years Live” archive video series is now available through the band’s official YouTube page. The new pro-shot video highlights the Vince Welnick-led performance of “Way To Go Home” from the Dead’s June 13th, 1993 concert at Orchard Park, NY’s Rich Stadium.

As the band’s official archivist David Lemieux explains in the video’s description,

“‘Way To Go Home’, one of Vince Welnick’s two original contributions to the Grateful Dead’s setlists (along with ‘Samba In The Rain’, which debuted in 1994), entered the repertoire in 1992 and was played 92 times by the Dead. Along with a four-part harmony on the chorus along with Phil, Bobby, and Jerry, it reliably provided an inspired guitar solo by Jerry, including the excellent solo he plays here in Buffalo on the 1993 Summer Tour.”

Lemieux goes on to explain that the June 1993 performance was his final Grateful Dead show as a fan and taper, as the band was entering the final and somewhat-dismal chapter of their 30-year journey.
