The latest installment in the Grateful Dead‘s “All The Years Live” archive video series is available now on the band’s YouTube page. This new live video showcases the Dead’s latter-era performance of “Eyes of the World” from their June 11th, 1993 concert at Buckeye Lake in Hebron, OH.
The new video for “Eyes” is the latest footage pulled from the Dead’s 6/11/93 performance, following the previously-shared “All The Years Live” video for “Foolish Heart”.
Grateful Dead archivist David Lemieux notes in the video’s description,
Throughout the 1980s, Eyes Of The World was played at a quicker and quicker tempo, and its length was curtailed. In March 1990, though, the Dead brought back the slower tempo, akin to the 1974 arrangement of Eyes, and from 1990-1995 there were countless wonderful, patient versions of this standout from 1973’s Wake Of The Flood. Like many renditions from March 1990 onward, this one from Buckeye Lake opened the second set.
Relive the band’s 1993 performance of the classic Wake of the Flood track at Buckeye Lake below.
