The latest installment in the Grateful Dead‘s “All The Years Live” archive video series is available now on the band’s YouTube page. This new live video showcases the Dead’s latter-era performance of “Cold Rain and Snow” from their June 14th, 1991 concert at R.F.K. Stadium in Washington, D.C.
The new video of “Cold Rain and Snow” follows the previously-shared “Black-Throated Wind” as the latest footage of the June 1991 show, which took place at the height of the band’s stadium-packing success in the early 1990s.
As Grateful Dead archivist David Lemieux notes in the video’s description,
“From the Grateful Dead’s second release in their View From The Vault DVD series, Cold Rain and Snow is one of the longest-serving songs in the Dead’s repertoire, a state of their 1966 shows onward. It was played most years 1966-1995. From the Dead’s first album, its live recorded debut on an official Dead album was on 1976’s Steal Your Face.”
