The latest installment in the Grateful Dead‘s All The Years Live archive video series is available now on the band’s YouTube page. This entry highlights the Dead’s performance of the “Terrapin Station” suite at Rich Stadium in Orchard Park, NY on July 4th, 1989.
“Terrapin Station” joins previously-shared videos pulled from the band’s 1989 Independence Day show shared to the All The Years Live series so far, including “Bertha”, “Cold Rain And Snow”, and “Touch of Grey”.
The night’s performance was later released as Truckin’ Up To Buffalo on both CD and DVD in 2005, as Dead archivist/legacy manager David Lemieux notes in along with the YouTube video,
Played a shade over 300 times, ‘Terrapin Station’ was a very welcome addition to Grateful Dead second sets (with a couple of exceptions) whenever it was played. This majestic show, released on CD and DVD in 2005, features a typically hot late-1980s version.
